Wild Goose Cross of Journeys and Meetings

This carving by Kathleen Smyth, of a man and a woman on either side of the Tree of Life, is from a 500 year old stone in Co. Donegal, Ireland. It can be seen to symbolize the journey of life, with its many opportunities & encounters. The meeting that may bring us fulfillment depends on the most startling chance & circumstance. The journey from the very first meeting to true union & love, is long & arduous.
